Ormando committing his extreme sacrifice, by martyrizing himself, dared to denounce openly the anti–homosexual repression carried out by the moral of the high ranks of the Vatican in the same place where it is propagandized.
For all those who may still doubt about the event, here is what Ormando writes in a letter to a very catholic person who pertly marginalizes hi:
–If the Catholic Apostolic Roman religion allows you to be racist against the so called ‘queers', I blame you very much. It is clear you have understood nothing about life and about loving your neighbour as yourself; us, the monsters, we are not your neighbour indeed, we belong to another religion; in the same letter some lines before, love, real love, is not racist or sexist, like you Catholics and alike.–
This personal attack is an explosive denounce of racism and of the domination of the man on another man, starting from the –patriarchal– one of the man on the woman and of the repressive moral of the high Vatican ranks imposed compulsorily to the basis of the Church, which is left aside.
This is why every year on January 13 we have been gathering on Piazza Pio XII at the border with the Vatican State to protest against homophoby on religious basis.
This year January 13 becomes –World Day for the Dialogue between Religions and Homosexuality–.
